Medical Department
The Medical Department at Our Lady’s Hospice comprises 3 main services: those for Older People, Rheumatology Rehabilitation and Palliative Care. Each service has evolved around the concept of multi-disciplinary care for patients with complex disease. The care provided is patient-centered and team-delivered resulting in a unique experience for patients presenting for treatment at OLH.
The medical consultants at OLH are all shared appointments with other Dublin major teaching hospitals. Issues and solutions are discussed regularly at medical committee meetings and the chairman is also a member of the Hospice management team and Board of Directors.
