Our Lady's Hospice is acknowledged as a centre of excellence in all its departments, and we actively encourage and promote continual learning and development in a constantly changing environment.
We currently employ over 600 multi-disciplinary staff, in a friendly, open environment. The Human Resources Department endeavours to offer a comprehensive service to the Hospice in terms of Recruitment, Best Practice Policies, Training and Development of Staff, Employee Assistance Programmes, Emplyee relations, Superannuation and Personnel Administration.
We have an on-site Occupational Health Department, providing assessment of fitness to work at pre-employment stage and at appropriate intervals and supports during the course of employment.
We act in a consultative and advisory capacity to Heads of Departments in relation to Hospice policies and procedures, industrial relations and current employment legislation.
