The role of the Board:
Entrepreneurial Leadership
Provide effective leadership of the Hospice within a framework of prudent and effective controls
Strategic Direction
Set the strategic direction of the Hospice, in light of the ethos and values that under pin the organisation, as established by the Religious Sisters of Charity.
Oversee and Monitor Performance
Approve, monitor and review organisational performance.

- Lead and manage the Hospices in delivering a patient-centred service according to the Hospices policy and strategy, in line with the organisational ethos and values.
- Implement the strategic plans and policies, as established by the Board, in the most effective and efficient manner.
