Welcome to Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services website. I hope it will provide you with the information you need whether you are a patient, family member, donor or prospective member of staff.
Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services has two truly special facilities, Harold’s Cross and Blackrock Hospice, where specialist care is provided for people with a range of needs from rehabilitation to end of life care. We have wonderful staff employed in both hospices and they provide a marvelous service for patients and their families at a most difficult time in their lives. Their commitment to their work is exceptional and people get great personal satisfaction from what they do.
Being greeted with a smile each day adds to the wonderful friendliness and caring atmosphere of our facilities.
As an organisation we face many challenges in continuing to provide really high quality services for all our patients and their families. It is our intention over the coming years to develop and expand our services so that we meet the needs of our changing society while never losing sight of the core values of Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services. Our staff and volunteers understand that each person has unique needs and should be treated as an individual. The importance of the diverse cultural backgrounds and traditions of many of our staff and patients is recognized and respected.
Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services has been supported wonderfully by the public through donations, fundraising events and bequests and for this we thank you. We welcome your continued support and we would be delighted to show you our work at closer hand should you wish to visit us.
